Stuck.

Here I am a little over 2 months into working out/dieting and I have accomplished SO much, but I find myself stuck! The scale has not moved much over the past week and a half and it is hard not to get a little down because of it. I have worked so hard to see change and yet I am feeling the change, but not seeing its fruits in the numbers.

Have you ever been here? have you felt like you put your head down and push as hard as you can, only to look back up and see that you are pushing against a brick wall?

Its where I'm at!

I guess some changes are in order to get the ball rolling again.

Welcome to the world of girl dieting....you will be amazed as your body transitions from fat to muscle (I'm sure you've heard that muscle weighs for than fat so I hope you are keeping measurements which will become more important than the weight eventually) But you will hang on to ONE weight for about 4-5 days and then one morning you get on the scale and BAM 5-6 (or 10 for a guy) lbs are GONE! You hang in there. As a girl, I've been dieting all my life because magazines and TV say be 'skinny'....so even when I was a healthy weight (nope not good enough - starve some more). I do need to get an exercise routine, but right now I am doing a lot of yard work mowing a big yard) Hang in there, brother! Lisa
